Job description

The Senior Hydraulic Modeling/Conveyance Engineer will lead water and wastewater system planning, modeling, and design development services for various projects. This role involves working with local, regional, and national teams to perform hydraulic modeling and capital planning assignments. The engineer will utilize industry-leading software to develop innovative solutions for water supply and management challenges. The position also includes mentoring early-career engineers and contributing to client engagement and business development efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, or other applicable Engineering disciplines.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Eight or more years of progressive engineering experience in water/wastewater system and infrastructure related disciplines.
  • Core technical hydraulic model development, calibration, and evaluation experience using at least two modeling software packages.
  • Proficiency with MS Office 365 and technical writing skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and perform technical tasks, quality control, and coordinate resources for multiple concurrent projects.
  • Conduct data collection, analysis, and documentation to support design and construction phases.
  • Coordinate with other project disciplines and mentor early-career engineering staff.
  • Serve as a technical subject matter expert and contribute to client engagement and development.
  • Participate in professional services marketing, sales, and business development pursuits.
