Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering
- Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in structural engineering
- Experience with US building codes including IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, and AISC
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
- Perform all conventional aspects of Structural Engineering analysis and design under general supervision.
- Plan and conduct work requiring judgement in the evaluation and selection of engineering techniques.
- Exercise sound engineering judgement and problem-solving skills.
- Possess knowledge of principles and practices of lateral analysis and design, including wind and seismic.
- Exhibit a high level of attention to detail and quality control.
- Manage workload effectively and take full ownership of assigned work.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to designers and less experienced engineers.
- Be proactive in advancing workflows and embracing emerging technologies.
