Job description
The Civil Engineering Intern position at Jacobs focuses on supporting the construction of water and wastewater utility infrastructure. Requirements
- Enrollment in a degree-seeking program in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Previous intern experience with a consulting or engineering firm is preferred.
- Relevant coursework or projects related to civil engineering.
- EIT certification or on track to obtain it.
- Authorization to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship.
Responsibilities
- Support construction activities for the water and wastewater utility sector.
- Assist in the planning and design of water and wastewater treatment, distribution, and collection system projects.
- Perform research and technical writing to develop documentation and studies.
- Collect and analyze data to support local office project activities.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project success.
