Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Strong analytical, conceptual, communication, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of Computer-Aided Drafting and Engineering (CAD/CAE)
- Registered Engineer-in-Training or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
- A passion for aviation
- Previous intern or co-op experience is preferred
Responsibilities
- Participate in planning-level aviation assignments under the direction of senior staff
- Perform civil engineering design including computer modeling, calculations, and reporting
- Prepare specifications and produce plan sets for airfield projects
- Coordinate and collaborate with other aviation design professionals as part of a cohesive design team
- Provide bid-phase and construction-phase services such as answering requests for information and reviewing shop drawings
- Attend site visits to perform engineering services including construction quality and acceptance testing
- Participate in design team and client meetings
- Attend industry-level training and collaboration events
