Job description

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field and 2+ years of engineering experience with coding in languages including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements.
  • Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 3+ years technical engineering experience with coding in relevant languages OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 5+ years technical engineering experience with coding in relevant languages.
  • 4+ years of professional experience designing and developing distributed backend services using microservice architecture in cloud environments.
  • 2+ years of experience in the development or operation of scalable infrastructure or platform services that support high availability and reliability in production environments.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and operate distributed backend services for Microsoft's cloud platforms.
  • Develop microservices and infrastructure components that are cloud-native, scalable, secure, and resilient.
  • Work with modern cloud technologies and service frameworks to deliver high-availability, low-latency services.
  • Collaborate with partner teams across Microsoft to ensure seamless integration and operational excellence.
  • Contribute to services that power Microsoft’s most strategic platforms and customer experiences.
