The Critical Environment Electrical Engineer at Microsoft plays a vital role in delivering core infrastructure for cloud services, including Azure and Office 365. • Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field AND 1+ year(s) technical engineering experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience OR equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of technical engineering experience is preferred.
• Experience in Datacenter Operations or other Critical Environment infrastructures is preferred.
• Experience in electrical maintenance of electrical distribution equipment is preferred.
• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements.

• Design and develop scalable, secure, and extensible electrical engineering solutions.
• Assist in creating and executing verification plans for product features.
• Implement known solutions to common technical challenges with guidance.
• Write design verification test cases and develop test plans for products.
• Analyze and interpret testing results to identify design issues.
• Follow project implementation schedules and communicate project status.
• Document essential details about materials and components for products.
