Job description

Netflix is seeking a Senior UI Test Engineer to join the Monetization Experiences Team, focusing on driving revenue growth and enhancing user experiences through innovative full-stack solutions. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional partners to deliver high-quality code and improve automation test stability.

Requirements

  • Exceptional proficiency in the fundamentals of any programming language, preferably Javascript or Java
  • Experienced with building all layers of the test pyramid and familiarity with common testing tools and frameworks
  • Deep expertise in software testing via automation, preferably with web or TV
  • Excellent debugging skills in diagnosing issues in a multi-tier web architecture
  • Self-motivated and high-performing with a passion for both business and tech
  • Curious with a tester mindset to come up with interesting test scenarios

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with cross-functional partners to communicate impact and understand business requirements
  • Consult on test plans and test strategies for new product innovations
  • Improve automation test stability by building the test pyramid and restructuring unstable tests
  • Write new tests to enhance flexibility and increase experimentation speed
  • Create modular experiences that minimize client-side logic
