Job description
Netflix is seeking a Data Engineering Manager to lead a team focused on building scalable data processing systems for the Ads domain. The role involves overseeing inventory and demand management, pricing, media planning data, and ensuring the creation of efficient data pipelines while maintaining data privacy and security.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in data engineering.
- Strong programming experience in at least 1 major language and SQL.
- 3+ years of engineering leadership experience, preferably in the Ad tech domain.
- Experience with distributed data processing technologies (i.e. Spark/Hadoop/Flink).
- BS in Computer Science/Engineering or a related discipline.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of engineers building high-scale, reliable data processing systems.
- Build a strong team vision and roadmap.
- Partner with diverse stakeholders for impactful collaboration.
- Provide constructive feedback and support team members' growth.
- Monitor and address productivity and efficiency drains.
