Netflix is seeking a visionary Automation Engineer to lead the end-to-end testing strategy for global payment and checkout experiences. This role involves architecting an AI-first testing ecosystem that enhances developer confidence and ensures seamless payment experiences across diverse markets.
Requirements
- Expert Automation Architect with a deep understanding of the Test Pyramid
- Deep experience with modern web automation tools like Playwright or Selenium
- Experience with API and contract testing frameworks
- Strong understanding of distributed backend systems and microservices
- Proficiency in Java, Javascript, Python, GraphQL, Github Actions, Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, Jest, Cucumber, Mocha
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the E2E testing strategy for payment management and checkout flows
- Architect and build Generative AI-powered tools for automation and regression detection
- Develop software solutions for generating high-quality synthetic test data
- Design tools to detect, quarantine, and reproduce flaky tests
- Integrate test coverage data with runtime traces and code changes
- Identify gaps in existing test suites and prioritize their closure
- Facilitate end-to-end testing and integration for engineering teams
- Partner with cross-functional teams to foster a 'reliability-first' culture
