Job description

As a member of the Social, Healthcare and Public Entities (SHaPE) Tech team, you will develop next-generation data and analytic solutions for the healthcare industry. You will leverage comprehensive healthcare data to solve complex challenges and improve healthcare delivery and outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in a healthcare-related field or a quantitative discipline (e.g., Data Science, Data Analytics)
  • 1+ years of healthcare data experience, including a strong background in healthcare or clinical analytics
  • High proficiency in SQL, with the ability to independently mine and process large-scale, complex healthcare datasets
  • Proficiency in a data visualization tool (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
  • Deep understanding of claims billing processes and code sets (e.g., ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS)
  • Working knowledge of additional coding languages (e.g., Python, R) is a strong plus
  • Self-starter with a healthy skepticism regarding data validity
