Job description

Tesla is seeking a technical sourcer for Manufacturing Engineering roles, focusing on recruiting talent for developing next-generation products and automating manufacturing lines. The position requires a strong understanding of the business and the ability to build a diverse pipeline of candidates under tight deadlines.

Requirements

  • 2-5+ years of sourcing or full-cycle experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with hardware engineering, manufacturing engineering, facilities engineering, or construction engineering is preferred
  • Proven background in using creative research and sourcing methods to hire for niche areas and difficult roles
  • Ability to create and maintain a healthy relationship across all functions of the company
  • Ability to work in ambiguity and under significant pressure with challenging deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Recruiters and Hiring Managers to develop an intimate understanding of the business and their open roles
  • Develop sourcing strategies and talent mapping to effectively build a robust pipeline of diverse and qualified candidates
  • Take a data-driven approach to calibrate sourcing strategy and business expectations as needed
  • Identify, attract, and assess top talent using various tools (ATS, LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.)
  • Partner with recruiters to provide updates to the business and senior leadership
  • Provide an excellent candidate interview experience
