The Edge & Network Services (ENS) team at Meta is looking for a Network Infrastructure Design Engineer to develop and deploy network connectivity solutions at scale in data centers. This role involves collaborating with technical teams to ensure that network infrastructure needs are met in new data center designs, contributing to Meta's mission of connecting the world.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• 7+ years of work experience with designing and deploying large-scale data center connectivity infrastructure
• Thorough knowledge of structured cabling and fiber optic infrastructure including design and installation best practices
• Working knowledge of fault tolerant cooling and electrical architectures used for supporting network and compute hardware
• General knowledge of the data center design, construction, and start up/commissioning processes
• Experience leading cross-functional teams through partnership and driving large-scale data center design initiatives
• Working knowledge of internet networking technologies (TCP/IP, routing, switching)
• Demonstrated experience to work effectively in an ambiguous environment and collaborate with global cross-functional teams

• Leverage in-depth subject-matter knowledge to represent the network infrastructure design and deployment needs for Industrial Control Systems (ICS)
• Collaborate across highly technical teams to develop, document, and incorporate network infrastructure requirements into Meta data center designs
• Build and nurture business relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and vendors
• Initiate and lead strategic initiatives driving efficiency, innovation, and standardization of network infrastructure
• Drive improvements in technical references/standards, design processes, and training documentation
• Support automation and tooling initiatives to drive consistency and efficiency in infrastructure design
• Perform construction administration site visits and work cross-functionally with construction teams to validate network builds
• Educate site design, construction, and operations teams on data center product design intent
