Job description

Bain & Company is seeking a talented Copywriter to join their Marketing team for a 6-month contract role. The position focuses on crafting engaging content that aligns with Bain's brand voice across various platforms, particularly targeting senior executives and recruits.

Requirements

  • Professional copywriting experience, preferably in a creative agency or in-house marketing role.
  • Strong preference for social media expertise and experience writing to a senior executive audience.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences, platforms, and campaign objectives.
  • Proficiency in using data to inform content strategy and refine writing based on performance metrics.
  • Experience with AI tools in a content creation or optimization capacity is desirable.
  • Strong background in writing for ad campaigns, events, video, infographics, and other marketing activations.
  • Proven ability to train or mentor team members on copywriting techniques and brand standards.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a steward and advocate for Bain’s brand voice, ensuring all content aligns with Bain’s tone, style, and messaging priorities.
  • Proven experience writing compelling copy for diverse marketing activations, including integrated marketing campaigns, events and environmental branding.
  • Develop and write engaging, on-brand content tailored to social media platforms, with a focus on LinkedIn and Instagram.
  • Generate fresh, original, and differentiating creative ideas based on inputs provided in creative briefs.
  • Partner with creative, digital, and marketing teams to align copy with visuals and ensure consistency in voice and messaging.
  • Apply insights from data to assess content performance, inform messaging, and optimize as needed.
  • Stay informed on content marketing innovations, social media trends, and industry news.
  • Leverage AI tools to enhance the quality and efficiency of written output.
  • Provide hands-on training and resources to the Marketing team.
