This role is for a fellow in a client service team at McKinsey, focusing on capital-intensive industries. Over 18 months, you will rotate through various service lines, tackling complex challenges and driving process improvements while gaining hands-on experience in capital programs.
Requirements
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, graduating in Spring or Summer 2027
- Internship or field-based experience in one or more capital-intensive industries, such as Oil & Gas, Mining, Energy, or Chemicals
- In-depth knowledge of continuous improvement programs
- Demonstrated aptitude for analytics
- Proven record of leadership in a work setting and/or through extracurricular activities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization
- Comfortable with up to 80% travel
- Language skills to communicate complex ideas effectively
Responsibilities
- Join a client service team and take ownership of a workstream to solve client challenges
- Drive process improvement and deliver successful business results
- Develop broad-based strategies for a diverse set of clients
- Rotate through Capital Portfolio, Project Development, and Project Delivery service lines
- Combine research, data analysis, interviews, and brainstorming to generate insights and solutions
- Earn clients' trust and deliver impactful results
