Job description

This role is for a fellow in a client service team at McKinsey, focusing on capital-intensive industries. Over 18 months, you will rotate through various service lines, tackling complex challenges and driving process improvements while gaining hands-on experience in capital programs.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, graduating in Spring or Summer 2027
  • Internship or field-based experience in one or more capital-intensive industries, such as Oil & Gas, Mining, Energy, or Chemicals
  • In-depth knowledge of continuous improvement programs
  • Demonstrated aptitude for analytics
  • Proven record of leadership in a work setting and/or through extracurricular activities
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization
  • Comfortable with up to 80% travel
  • Language skills to communicate complex ideas effectively

Responsibilities

  • Join a client service team and take ownership of a workstream to solve client challenges
  • Drive process improvement and deliver successful business results
  • Develop broad-based strategies for a diverse set of clients
  • Rotate through Capital Portfolio, Project Development, and Project Delivery service lines
  • Combine research, data analysis, interviews, and brainstorming to generate insights and solutions
  • Earn clients' trust and deliver impactful results
