Job description

The Engineering Manager will lead the rider engineering team at Uber, focusing on developing the flagship rider app and enhancing the consumer experience. This role requires a technical leader who can collaborate effectively across product, design, data science, operations, and engineering teams. The manager will be responsible for aligning the team's vision and executing on product roadmaps while mentoring engineers and ensuring best practices in software development. This position is critical for driving positive impact for both riders and the business.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of coaching and growing engineers.
  • 4+ years of engineering management experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in engineering.
  • Ability to execute and drive product roadmap.
  • Managed teams sized 5 - 10 people.

Responsibilities
