The Rider Pricing & Incentives team at Uber focuses on optimizing rider pricing and promotions through advanced machine learning and data science. In this role, you will lead a team to improve pricing algorithms and promotional systems, driving revenue and ridership growth. You will work on machine learning technologies, including deep learning and reinforcement learning, to enhance pricing strategies. • Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field with 7+ years of full-time engineering experience.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, or Go.
• Experience with machine learning and optimization algorithms.

• Lead a group of software engineers and machine learning engineers to develop and implement new machine learning and optimization techniques.
• Improve the performance of models and algorithms powering pricing algorithms and promotion targeting.
• Own the problem end-to-end, including working with cross-functional teams to define the product and/or technical roadmap.
• Mentor junior team members by role modeling machine learning best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and drive Uber's ridership and revenue growth.
