Job description

The Application Developer for the ServiceNow Platform is tasked with designing, developing, and supporting scalable ServiceNow solutions that address complex business needs. This role requires collaboration with product owners, business analysts, and architects to deliver high-quality solutions across various domains, including HRSD and Workplace Service Delivery. The ideal candidate will have over four years of hands-on experience and will leverage generative AI capabilities to enhance workflows and improve efficiency. The position emphasizes disciplined release management and secure integrations within Uber's technical ecosystem.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer or Engineer working on enterprise-scale ServiceNow implementations for Employee Workflows.
  • Strong expertise in JavaScript, Glide API, HTML, CSS, AJAX, and ServiceNow scripting.
  • Hands-on experience with Now Assist technologies and generative AI workflows.
  • Proven experience designing and implementing complex integrations using REST/SOAP APIs.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator and Certified Application Developer are required.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop end-to-end solutions across Employee Workflows applications.
  • Implement Now Assist capabilities to enhance self-service and agent productivity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and create technical design documents.
  • Build and maintain seamless integrations between ServiceNow and external systems.
  • Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and training to end users.
  • Suggest and implement best practices for ServiceNow to increase efficiency.
  • Maintain clear documentation of configurations, workflows, and processes.
  • Communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
