Arcadis is seeking a mid-level Industrial Water Process Engineer to join their Industrial Water Treatment and Optimization team. This role focuses on contributing to industrial water and wastewater design projects, applying various treatment processes and technologies. The engineer will work closely with multi-disciplinary teams and receive mentorship from senior engineers. The position involves both fieldwork and project management to ensure successful implementation of treatment systems.

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum of 5 years of progressively increasing responsibility in the industrial water/wastewater field
• Preferred Master's degree in engineering or a related field of study with focus on wastewater treatment process engineering
• 7+ years of experience is preferred
• Professional engineer registration in one or more states is preferred

• Function as the process engineer on industrial water/wastewater projects
• Assist in developing and preparing process design drawings, specifications, calculations, plans, and other technical deliverables
• Conduct field work including surveys, construction quality assurance, and inspections
• Assist with system commissioning and start-up, including training plant staff
• Prepare and make presentations to clients and for professional meetings
• Manage projects to meet both client and Arcadis' expectations
• Support business development including proposal preparation and meetings with clients
• Travel as needed for meetings and site visits, up to 25%
