Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, geotechnical engineering, or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of geotechnical engineering experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Master’s degree in civil engineering, geotechnical engineering, or a closely related field is preferred.
- Professional engineer (PE) license is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and contribute to critical projects in the Mining Sector Team.
- Apply geotechnical engineering principles to develop effective solutions for surface mining projects.
- Perform geotechnical engineering reviews and provide input on large-scale projects.
- Mentor and develop mid-level and junior staff to foster a collaborative team environment.
- Support business development by identifying and pursuing growth opportunities with clients.
- Act as or become the Engineer of Record on appropriate projects to ensure technical excellence.
