Job description

Arcadis is seeking a mid-level Industrial Water Process Engineer to join their Industrial Water Treatment and Optimization team. This role focuses on contributing to industrial water and wastewater design projects, applying various treatment processes and technologies. The position offers opportunities for technical mentoring and collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams. It is a hybrid work position with client facilities located throughout the US and some international assignments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressively increasing responsibility in the industrial water/wastewater field
  • Possess a good understanding of different types of industrial wastewater treatment systems
  • Experience writing and editing equipment and piping specifications
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

  • Function as the process engineer on industrial water/wastewater projects
  • Assist in developing and preparing process design drawings, specifications, calculations, and other technical deliverables
  • Conduct field work including surveys, construction quality assurance, and inspections
  • Assist with system commissioning and start-up, including training plant staff
  • Prepare and make presentations to clients and for professional meetings
  • Manage projects to meet client and Arcadis' expectations
  • Support business development including proposal preparation and client meetings
