Arcadis is seeking a GIS Senior Analyst to provide analytical and consulting support for US State Departments of Transportation. This role focuses on data management, maintenance, and the design and implementation of Relational Database Management Systems and enterprise Geographic Information Systems using Esri software. The position is part of the Global Mobility Business Area, which aims to create sustainable solutions for urban mobility challenges. The analyst will work with a diverse team to improve the quality of life through innovative data solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, Computer Science, IT, Environmental Science, or a similar field.
- 4 years of post-graduate experience in technology or visualization software.
- Certified GIS Professional (GISP) is preferred.
- Extensive familiarity with enterprise database environments and versioning concepts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Create scripts to integrate, transform, convert, and validate enterprise data stores.
- Develop databases and schemas in Oracle and SQL Server.
- Analyze and create datasets to support enterprise reporting and distribution needs.
- Manage GIS data through editing and quality assurance best practices.
- Develop and design visualization and analytical tools in the Esri GIS environments.
- Integrate external datasets into Roads and Highways for reporting purposes.
