The Senior Structural Engineer position at Arcadis focuses on municipal, wastewater, and industrial water projects. The role involves providing technical leadership and project management expertise while collaborating with clients and guiding project teams. Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant engineering experience, including supervision of large, complex municipal and industrial water and wastewater projects.
- Professional Engineer (PE) License.
- Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
- Functional knowledge and experience with AutoCAD/REVIT software.
- Strong structural analysis and design skills, including experience with structural software such as Staad Pro and Risa.
- Excellent working knowledge of all building codes and standards, such as IBC, ACI, and AISC.
Responsibilities
- Organize and conduct structural-related engineering investigations, calculations, and planning work.
- Lead the development of calculations, plans, specifications, requests for proposals, and other contract documents.
- Work directly with various engineering disciplines, office/project staff, clients, and subcontractors throughout the project life cycle.
- Manage the production of engineering and construction drawings, specifications, bid packages, and cost estimates for projects.
- Function as an Engineer of Record, Task Manager, or Project Engineer to manage budgets and schedules.
- Mentor entry-level and junior structural engineering staff.
