Job description
Arcadis is seeking a Water Engineer Intern to join their Water Business Line in Dallas, TX for Summer 2026. This role offers hands-on experience in water engineering projects, focusing on water/wastewater treatment and conveyance. Interns will engage in sustainability and resilience projects while conducting fieldwork activities such as site visits and water quality analyses. The position emphasizes teamwork and collaboration, utilizing digital tools to enhance project delivery.
Requirements
- Pursuing a BS in Civil, Environmental, or Water Resources Engineering, or a closely related academic discipline.
- Prior internship or coursework in water/wastewater, water resources, or related sectors is preferred.
- EIT certification is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, plan, design, and support the management of water/wastewater treatment and conveyance projects.
- Conduct site visits, perform sampling, and conduct water quality analyses.
- Support the preparation of reports, presentations, and other audio-visual materials.
- Ensure project compliance with Arcadis practices and quality, health, and safety standards.
- Work independently and as part of a team, collaborating with members across the U.S. and internationally.
- Learn and use digital tools to enhance customer experience and project delivery.
