Job description

Arcadis is seeking a Principal Air Quality Engineer to join their Integrated Sustainability and Compliance team in Texas. This hybrid role involves working in an office, remotely, and visiting client sites. The position focuses on growing the Gulf Coast air quality practice and providing support to key clients through various air quality projects. The successful candidate will collaborate with a dynamic team and contribute to a wide range of environmental projects.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in air quality engineering or related field.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical or Environmental Engineering or a related engineering field.
  • Preferred Master's degree in the fields listed above.
  • PE registration in Texas and/or Louisiana is preferred.
  • Gulf Coast chemical and oil & gas air quality experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Gulf Coast based air quality projects including air permitting and compliance support.
  • Apply extensive knowledge of Federal and State air quality regulations to projects.
  • Collaborate with the North American Air Quality and Noise Community of Practice Leaders.
  • Manage project teams to deliver high quality, on time, and on budget project deliverables.
  • Perform environmental compliance audits with a focus on air quality and EPCRA.
  • Support sales and marketing efforts by meeting with clients and writing proposals.
