Job description

Arcadis is seeking an experienced Senior Process Design Engineer to join their California Water Business team. This role involves collaborating within a supportive environment to deliver innovative solutions for municipal and private sector clients. The engineer will focus on mechanical design and process integration for water and wastewater treatment facilities. Requirements

  • B.S. in Civil or Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 10 years of relevant experience in process mechanical engineering for water and wastewater facilities.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the state of California.

Responsibilities

  • Lead innovative mechanical design and process integration for treatment facilities, reservoirs, and pumping stations.
  • Develop comprehensive construction documents and detailed specifications for critical systems.
  • Perform thorough assessments and accurately size and select equipment.
  • Conduct hydraulic analyses and develop process flow narratives.
  • Support business development efforts and contribute to proposals.
  • Mentor junior engineers and ensure rigorous quality control reviews.
