Job description

Arcadis is seeking a Project Water/Wastewater Pipeline Engineer to join their Water Business Line in Southern California. This role involves leading and supporting the planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater pipeline projects for various clients. The engineer will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and regulatory requirements. The position emphasizes collaboration and technical expertise in pipeline design and project management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil or mechanical engineering or a related discipline.
  • 6-12 years of relevant experience in the design and delivery of water and/or wastewater pipeline projects.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in California, or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the design and delivery of water and wastewater pipeline projects.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, preliminary and final design, and provide construction support.
  • Develop alignments, perform hydraulic calculations, and prepare detailed design drawings and specifications.
  • Act as a technical point of contact for clients and attend meetings to support business development activities.
  • Ensure all deliverables meet Arcadis’ quality standards, client expectations, and regulatory requirements.
