Arcadis is seeking a Senior Traffic Engineer to join their team in Baton Rouge, LA. This role involves working on diverse traffic engineering projects across Louisiana and the Southeast region, focusing on enhancing transportation operations and safety. The Senior Traffic Engineer will engage with clients, manage project scope, schedule, and budget, while collaborating with senior program managers and engineers. The position is part of the Global Mobility Business Area, which aims to design sustainable solutions for connected cities and communities.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• 15+ years of relevant work experience
• Must possess Louisiana PE License
• Valid U.S. Driver's License

• Manage the delivery of traffic engineering projects and tasks
• Serve as a primary client contact and present technical results and recommendations
• Coordinate with subject matter experts to integrate insights into project plans
• Develop strategies for pursuing new projects and conduct traffic studies
• Lead the preparation of traffic engineering plans, such as signal designs and signing and marking designs
• Mentor junior engineers and interns to foster their professional growth
