Job description

Arcadis is seeking a Senior Stormwater Transportation Engineer to join their national drainage practice in Jackson, MS. The role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of roadway drainage and design-build projects, providing a collaborative and flexible work environment. Requirements

  • 10+ years of relevant MDOT drainage design experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an ABET Accredited University.
  • PE certification.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct engineering design for roadway drainage and design-build projects.
  • Assist in all aspects of roadway drainage design including hydraulic studies and culvert design.
  • Prepare construction plans, cost estimates, reports, and technical memos.
  • Provide quality control reviews for drainage calculations and plans.
  • Utilize various design software to assist with the design and preparation of construction plans.
  • Coordinate with project managers and other disciplines.
  • Direct and mentor junior engineers.
