Arcadis is seeking an experienced Roadway Design Engineer to lead roadway design projects in Michigan. The role involves overseeing project management from concept to completion while ensuring adherence to budget and regulatory requirements. The engineer will collaborate with clients and mentor junior staff, playing a crucial role in delivering sustainable solutions. This position requires a strong background in roadway design and project management.

• 4+ years of experience in roadway design and project management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• EIT certification.
• Experience with MDOT bid document preparation utilizing ORD and other software.

• Serve as the professional engineer discipline lead managing roadway design projects.
• Ensure adherence to project scope, schedule, and budget constraints.
• Mentor and provide direction to junior staff and design/drafters.
• Interact with client technical staff and manage client expectations.
• Prepare written reports, calculations, and other design documentation.
