Job description

Requirements

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in stormwater and roadway drainage design.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from an accredited program.
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification; Professional Engineer (PE) license or eligibility is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of state and local stormwater regulations and roadway design standards.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard design and modeling tools such as HEC-RAS, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and GIS.

Responsibilities

  • Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses to support stormwater management system designs.
  • Prepare and review drainage reports, calculations, and construction documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with state and local stormwater regulations and coordinate with relevant agencies.
  • Develop stormwater design solutions for transportation and infrastructure projects.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate drainage and stormwater systems into overall project design.
