Job description

The Senior Consultant – Power Platform & Copilot Engineer role at EY focuses on leveraging Microsoft Power Platform and AI technologies to develop innovative solutions that enhance productivity and drive business transformation. Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience in application development.
  • 4 years of hands-on experience with Power Platform and Copilot.
  • Expertise in Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Copilot Studio.
  • Strong knowledge of AI Builder, Copilot, and Dataverse security and automation concepts.
  • Proficiency in environment management and tenant-level security controls.
  • Solid understanding of RDBMS and integration technologies.
  • Object-oriented programming experience in C#, Java, or .NET.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps tooling.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to mentor junior developers.
  • Certifications: PL-900 and either PL-400 or PL-600.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement agentic AI solutions using Copilot Studio and Power Platform components.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for applications, workflows, and processes.
  • Engage with senior stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
  • Monitor application performance and user feedback to identify areas for improvement.
  • Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and user experience.
  • Architect and implement the Declarative Agentic Framework with governance and compliance best practices.
  • Develop and validate pilot M365 agents for various scenarios.
  • Guide the team on technical standards, code quality, and solution architecture.
  • Conduct code reviews to confirm adherence to best practices in application development.
  • Support enablement and training sessions for client teams to promote safe citizen development.
  • Advise on integration patterns, security, and data handling.
  • Stay current with Microsoft Copilot, Power Platform, and AI advancements.
  • Confirm all solutions align with compliance, governance, and risk management requirements.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project timelines.
  • Provide regular updates to management on project status and outcomes.
