Job description
Arcadis is seeking a driven Electrical Engineer with water and wastewater experience to join their Resilience Water team. This hybrid role can be based in Ohio or Detroit, Michigan, focusing on critical infrastructure projects that protect water resources and advance sustainable solutions. The engineer will work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team to plan, design, and deliver complex electrical systems for water and wastewater facilities. This position offers an exciting opportunity for those passionate about making a tangible impact through essential infrastructure.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related discipline
- 5 years of experience supporting water/wastewater projects
- EIT or Professional Engineer (PE) certification
Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and coordinate electrical systems for water and wastewater facilities.
- Produce high-quality electrical design deliverables such as one-line diagrams and control schematics.
- Support project delivery by assisting with budgets, schedules, and coordination.
- Perform power system studies and analyses using tools such as ETAP or SKM Power Tools.
- Provide engineering support during construction through submittal and shop drawing reviews.
