The role involves engineering design for roadway drainage and design-build projects across the southeast. The engineer will also direct junior engineers and utilize various design software to prepare construction plans.

• 7+ years of drainage design and project management experience
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• Basic understanding of FEMA floodplain regulations
• Knowledge of stormwater design including open channel conveyance and closed drainage systems
• Good communication (written and verbal) and teamwork skills

• Assist in all aspects of roadway drainage design including bridge hydraulic studies and culvert design
• Prepare construction plans and project displays
• Prepare cost estimates, reports, and technical memos
• Utilize various design software including MicroStation, Inroads, and AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Coordinate with project managers, ecologists, and roadway engineers
• Direct junior engineer’s design activities
