Job description
Arcadis is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their Resilience Water Team in Atlanta, Georgia. This role focuses on designing electrical systems and managing tasks and junior staff while providing technical consulting services for water and environmental projects. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with a team of professionals to deliver high-quality electrical design and coordination for various projects. Responsibilities include overseeing project scopes, schedules, and budgets, as well as ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Requirements
- 7 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related discipline.
- PE License is required.
- Experience using AutoCAD MEP or Revit, and power systems analysis software.
Responsibilities
- Support projects and clients in the planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater facilities.
- Manage tasks and oversee the work of junior staff while reporting to a Principal Engineer.
- Perform electrical design and coordination for power distribution, lighting, communications, and fire alarm systems.
- Conduct field inspections and project oversight during construction phases.
- Establish design criteria and perform design calculations, including developing one-line diagrams and control schematics.
