Job description

Arcadis is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join their Design & Engineering team within the North America Places group. The role focuses on providing sustainable solutions in mechanical engineering, particularly in HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems. The team works on various projects that enhance smart and sustainable places, including data centers and educational facilities. This position offers flexible working hours and requires collaboration with a diverse team while supporting clients across the United States.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of relevant MEP experience within the Retail, Workplace, Transit, and Education landscape.
  • Professional Engineer in North Carolina.
  • Ability to communicate effectively regarding client needs and technical solutions.
  • Experience with Autodesk Platforms and digital design tools including Autodesk Construction Cloud or Building Information Modelling.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first-in-class solutions to internal and external clients through technical expertise in mechanical engineering.
  • Develop engineering reports, calculations, drawings, and specifications.
  • Engage with organizations and clients in the region to identify project opportunities.
  • Collaborate with teammates globally and adapt to new digital tools.
