Job description

Arcadis is seeking a Project Air Quality Engineer to join their Integrated Sustainability and Compliance team in Tampa. This hybrid role involves working in an office, remotely, and visiting client sites. The focus is on air quality projects, including permitting, compliance support, and emissions reporting. Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years' experience in Air Quality with a strong background in air emission calculations and permitting.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical or Environmental Engineering or a related engineering field.
  • Experience with AERMOD dispersion modeling is preferred.
  • EIT or PE registration is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a wide variety of air quality services for clients in various industries.
  • Apply knowledge of Federal and State air quality regulations to air permitting and compliance projects.
  • Assist clients with permitting and routine air quality compliance reporting.
  • Prepare air permit applications for various types of permits.
  • Collaborate with air team leaders to ensure regulatory knowledge and excellent project delivery.
  • Perform emissions calculations for regulated air pollutants and greenhouse gases.
  • Support client and proposal development activities.
  • Travel up to 10-20% for project and client needs.
