Job description
Arcadis is seeking Entry Level Water Engineers to join their team in Tampa, FL, focusing on water and wastewater projects. The role offers the opportunity to work on various projects related to water supply, treatment, distribution, and wastewater systems. The team is dedicated to protecting the natural environment and water resources while addressing challenges such as climate change and urbanization. This position will involve both fieldwork and project management responsibilities to ensure high-quality standards in water resources projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- Knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes is preferred.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, GIS, and other engineering software is preferred.
- EIT certification is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, plan, design, and support management of water/wastewater treatment and conveyance projects.
- Conduct site visits, perform construction inspections, and collect samples.
- Analyze water quality and conduct asset inventory.
- Set up and monitor flow monitoring systems and evaluate technologies.
- Support professional engineering services during the construction phase.
- Coordinate with manufacturer’s representatives and contractors.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and cost estimates.
- Participate in client meetings and support Asset Management projects.
