The Cybersecurity Splunk Manager at EY is responsible for overseeing Splunk implementation and providing technical expertise in cybersecurity. This role is part of the Government and Public Sector practice, which focuses on delivering consulting and audit services to enhance public services. The manager will lead a team in troubleshooting, analysis, and operationalizing cybersecurity solutions. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure effective delivery of services and support for client missions.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
- 8-10 years of experience with Splunk or enterprise SIEM is necessary.
- Candidates must have at least one relevant cybersecurity certification such as CISA, CISSP, or Security+ CE.
- An active Top Secret-level clearance or higher is mandatory.
- Working knowledge of security frameworks and standards such as NIST and FIPS is essential.
Responsibilities
- Provide cybersecurity troubleshooting, analysis, and technical expertise.
- Assist in coordinating large-scale cybersecurity engagements.
- Develop and configure dashboards within the Splunk interface for data correlation and analysis.
- Deploy and configure Splunk components such as Universal Forwarders and Indexers.
- Assess cybersecurity controls and strategies using proprietary and industry frameworks.
- Monitor progress and manage risks while keeping stakeholders informed.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their technical and consulting skills.
- Deliver quality client services and ensure high-quality work products.
