Job description

Arcadis is seeking a Project Water Wastewater Engineer to join their Resilience Water Team in Virginia or Maryland. The role focuses on addressing water issues such as quality, scarcity, and management through sustainable solutions. Candidates will collaborate with experienced professionals and develop their technical capabilities while managing projects. The position emphasizes strong communication and coordination skills to achieve project objectives.

Requirements

  • 6 years of experience in engineering and consulting, primarily related to the municipal water market.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or related field.
  • PE License.

Responsibilities

  • Lead tasks and projects for the planning, design, and construction of Water/Wastewater distribution and collection systems.
  • Develop design and construction documents, such as reports and specifications.
  • Provide support in the construction administration of projects.
  • Serve as a Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager on projects.
  • Develop scopes of work and budgets that align with client and organizational expectations.
  • Participate in pursuit capture planning for new project opportunities.
