Job description

Arcadis is seeking Entry Level Water Engineers to join their team in Orlando, FL, focusing on water and wastewater projects. This role provides the opportunity to work on various projects related to water supply, treatment, distribution, and wastewater systems. The team is dedicated to protecting the natural environment and water resources while addressing the challenges posed by climate change. The Entry Level Engineer will engage in both fieldwork and project management activities to ensure high-quality standards in water resources projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes is preferred.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, GIS, and other engineering software is preferred.
  • EIT certification is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are important.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities are essential.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of water engineering is important.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, plan, design, and support management of water/wastewater treatment and conveyance projects.
  • Conduct site visits and perform construction inspections.
  • Collect samples and analyze water quality.
  • Conduct asset inventory and monitor flow monitoring systems.
  • Support professional engineering services during the construction phase.
  • Coordinate with manufacturers' representatives and contractors.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and cost estimates.
  • Participate in client meetings and support Asset Management projects.
