The Senior Manager - Tax - Indirect Tax - Technology - Platform Lead Engineer role at EY involves overseeing the operations of the technology platform within the Indirect Tax Technology team. Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in technology, information systems, or computer science, and a minimum of 7 years of related work experience, or a graduate degree and approximately 6 years of related work experience.
- Experience with front-end programming languages such as C# and .NET.
- Exposure to API technologies and understanding of how APIs work.
- Familiarity with AI concepts and their application in platform operations.
- Proficiency in Azure and understanding of technology integration from infrastructure to application level.
Responsibilities
- Set and maintain application architecture standards for the platform.
- Coordinate with Information Security teams during regular releases and security testing.
- Collaborate with the Architecture Review Board for platform changes.
- Manage and support platform changes driven by EY and external vendors.
- Oversee day-to-day platform operations, ensuring reliability and performance.
- Run security testing and provide guidance on remediation strategies.
- Prioritize tasks and work closely with business stakeholders to align platform initiatives with business needs.
- Coordinate with relevant other EY technology groups for operational and release management support.
- Manage DevOps team members and participate in future hiring as needed.
- Communicate effectively with executive stakeholders to provide updates and recommendations.
