Job description

Arcadis is seeking a Staff Water Engineer to join their Water team in Clifton Park, NY. This role involves delivering design work for water and wastewater clients across North America. The engineer will evaluate, plan, and support management of projects related to water treatment and conveyance. The position requires collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and effective communication with project managers and clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in an appropriate area of engineering
  • Valid driver's license with the ability to commute to project sites
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in engineering
  • EIT Certification
  • Preferred: New York PE License

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, plan, design, and support management of water and wastewater treatment projects.
  • Complete technical reports with guidance from senior team members.
  • Conduct fieldwork activities including site visits and construction inspections.
  • Manage tasks as a project resource to meet budget, timeframe, and quality objectives.
  • Prepare documentation and reports ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards.
  • Liaise with project managers and clients to ensure effective communication on project matters.
  • Provide technical guidance to other team members and collaborate with other design disciplines.
