Job description

Arcadis is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their Design & Engineering team within the North America Places group. This role focuses on providing sustainable mechanical engineering solutions for various infrastructure projects, including data centers and transit facilities. The position emphasizes collaboration and client interaction, requiring expertise in HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems. The ideal candidate will be based in the Miami area and will contribute to the company's goal of expanding its reach in Southern Florida.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of relevant MEP experience within the Living practice landscape
  • Professional Engineer in Florida
  • Ability to communicate effectively regarding client needs and technical solutions
  • Experience with Autodesk Platforms and digital design tools including BIM

Responsibilities

  • Provide first-in-class mechanical engineering solutions to clients
  • Develop engineering reports, calculations, drawings, and specifications
  • Engage with organizations and clients to identify project opportunities
  • Mentor and train colleagues to spread expert knowledge within the team
  • Manage relationships and contribute to the commercial strategy in mechanical scopes
