The Senior Consultant role in the Capital Markets team at EY focuses on assisting clients in solving complex strategic problems related to their capital markets businesses. This position involves working with high-performing teams to analyze and enhance client operations across various phases of delivery. The team aims to modernize infrastructure, navigate regulatory changes, and define digital client strategies. Candidates will engage with clients at all organizational levels to develop new offerings and thought leadership.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business with 3+ years of relevant experience, or a master's degree in business administration (MBA) with 2+ years of relevant experience.
- A minimum of 2 recent years of experience in capital markets.
- Proven experience in managing small, midsize, and large businesses, functions, or projects in the capital markets sector.
- Knowledge of a range of financial products, including derivatives, equities, fixed income, foreign exchange, and commodities.
- Expertise in digital assets, including cryptocurrencies, tokenization, and blockchain technology.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks governing digital assets, including AML/KYC requirements.
Responsibilities
- Assist on client engagements to analyze, evaluate, and enhance capital markets businesses.
- Interface with clients at all levels to address their most challenging questions.
- Support the Capital Markets practice in developing new offerings and thought leadership.
- Drive performance improvement across sell-side, buy-side, and market infrastructure participants.
- Collaborate with technology teams to implement innovative digital asset products and services.
- Assess and manage risks associated with digital asset investments.
