Job description

The Business Security Consultant at EY focuses on enhancing cloud security architecture and governance, particularly within the Microsoft Azure platform. This hands-on role involves guiding the implementation of Cloud Native Application Protection Platform (CNAPP) technology and ensuring secure deployments for business applications. The consultant will work collaboratively within a DevSecOps model to automate security testing and compliance while addressing unique security challenges. The ideal candidate will also engage with various project teams to design and implement security controls across multiple applications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience as a Cloud Security Engineer or Architect with expertise in CNAPP platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud security capabilities at the enterprise level, including CSPM and CWPP.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
  • Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles and practices.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a subject matter expert to enhance cloud security posture using the Wiz CNAPP across Azure.
  • Guide the integration of Wiz to drive risk-based remediation with product and DevOps teams.
  • Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures for cloud environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans for cloud environments.
