Job description
The Robotics Hardware Development Intern/Co-op position at Amazon is designed for current students passionate about robotics and hardware. Requirements
- Candidates must be 18 years of age or older.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or higher degree in Engineering, Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechatronics, Materials Science, Physics, or related STEM fields.
- Knowledge of hardware engineering fundamentals in mechanical, electrical, hardware test, reliability, quality, failure analysis, or manufacturing.
- Experience with hardware design, development, and testing.
- Familiarity with hardware physical tools, digital tools, and methods such as 3D CAD.
- Strong analytic and problem-solving skills.
- Previous technical internship experience or demonstrated project experience.
Responsibilities
- Complete project tasks with a team of other interns and Amazon engineers.
- Utilize Amazon engineering tools and processes.
- Prototype and test concepts or features.
- Track progress of task deliverables.
- Develop and maintain design documentation.
- Present information to managers and engineers.
