Job description

Amazon Music is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer to join the Community and Fandom team in San Francisco. This role involves architecting and developing large-scale solutions that enhance customer experiences through voice and visual interactions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and a passion for innovation in music and culture. The team focuses on creating differentiated experiences for fans and artists, with an emphasis on end-to-end ownership of impactful projects.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language
  • 5+ years of experience leading design or architecture of new and existing systems
  • Experience as a mentor or tech lead in an engineering team
  • 3+ years of iOS development experience
  • 5+ years of experience in the full software development life cycle
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Architect and develop large-scale software solutions for Amazon Music.
  • Work independently and collaboratively with teams across Music, Amazon, and third-party partners.
  • Coach and mentor other engineers to promote excellence within the team.
  • Develop engineering and operational processes to enhance team performance.
