Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of design or architecture experience for new and existing systems
- 2+ years of experience in designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language such as C#, C++, Java, or Perl
- 3+ years of experience in the full software development life cycle
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
Responsibilities
- Solve complex and ambiguous problems with efficiency and high quality
- Develop best in class software systems for automating Amazon's network
- Collaborate with Network Engineering teams to ensure smooth software roll-outs
- Identify and troubleshoot recurring platform issues and escalate to senior-level engineering teams
- Gather requirements and generate technical designs for projects
- Mentor junior engineers and provide training and support for technologies
