• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of design or architecture experience for new and existing systems
• 2+ years of experience in designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language such as C#, C++, Java, or Perl
• 3+ years of experience in the full software development life cycle
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field

• Solve complex and ambiguous problems with efficiency and high quality
• Develop best in class software systems for automating Amazon's network
• Collaborate with Network Engineering teams to ensure smooth software roll-outs
• Identify and troubleshoot recurring platform issues and escalate to senior-level engineering teams
• Gather requirements and generate technical designs for projects
