This role is for a high-impact engineer focused on designing world-class fulfillment centers and logistics systems. The position is based in Nashville and involves collaboration with internal and external teams to create cost-effective solutions. The engineer will manage multiple projects from concept to design approval and serve as the primary technical contact for suppliers. The projects will encompass a variety of facilities across North America and Europe, requiring innovative design and problem-solving skills.

• 5+ years of design and innovation, research and development work experience
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a foreign equivalent
• Experience with design and innovation and research and development
• Experience in management of engineering design projects
• Experience using business or technical software like MS Excel, MS Project, and CAD software
• 5+ years of specialty experience with progressive responsibility
• Master's degree in Engineering, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field
• Knowledge of system architecture, optimization, system dynamics, system analysis, statistical analysis, reliability analysis, electronic system design, and decision making
• Experience with complex automated material handling equipment, packaging technologies, and high-speed manufacturing
• Experience with design-in-safety

• Collaborate with internal and external teams to design high quality, cost effective solutions for fulfillment and distribution systems
• Own multiple projects simultaneously from concept realization through design approval
• Serve as the primary point of technical contact for suppliers on projects
• Hand-off completed and approved designs to the Ops Engineering team for installation and commissioning
• Support the Ops Engineering team to ensure successful installation, commissioning, and launch of designed systems
• Work on a variety of projects including green-fields, brown-fields, and retrofits
• Design fulfillment centers, cross-dock facilities, specialty facilities, and transportation centers
