The System Development Engineer role within the Platform Engineering and Emerging Technologies (PEET) team focuses on designing, deploying, monitoring, and automating infrastructure for the Wickr service. Candidates must possess an active TS/SCI security clearance and be adaptable to work on large distributed systems. • Bachelor's degree or CSSLP (Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional)
• 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 1+ years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems
• Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals including networking, storage, and operating systems
• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, or Ruby
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret with SCI eligibility or above
• Experience with distributed systems at scale
• Experience with Linux/Unix
